The Knit Wits are staying happy. Our booth at the Activity Fair drew some attention from fellow knitters and crocheters who then came to the following meeting. We welcome all the newcomers who bring a richness of new ideas and experiences.

Cathy Nordin, one of our very experienced and prolific knitters, is conducting a class on how to knit a sock on one long circular needle. It’s a wonderful technique that just might make sock knitting easier for those of us who always have cold feet—and others.

If you are a knitter or crocheter with basic skills or an advanced player in yarn, you are welcome to join us every Wednesday morning from 9 a.m. to 11 a.m. in room 4 of the HOA-1 craft area. The major thrust of the Knit Wits is the social aspect of the group, but our first Wednesday of the month Show and Tell meeting illustrates the array of knitted and crocheted items that members create for themselves, friends, family and our charity projects.
