April showers bring May flowers, but it doesn’t bring Golfers and Sputters. With the rain, 48 Verde Sputters had an early luncheon of chicken salad with Cran raisins on a croissant roll, a side salad, and for dessert, lemon cake on Monday, April 1. The Committee members, Hazel Roper, Karen Taylor, Nancy Bowersock, Kathie Roberts and Sandy Ripley prepared beautiful table flower centerpieces on each table of which one lucky Sputter at each table got to take home with them. Debbie Van Berkom won the free lunch.
