The four teams fielded by SaddleBrooke Pickleball Association Inc. have begun competing in matches in the Arizona Pickleball Players League. The Flying Burrito Brothers team (3.5 65+ men) defeated the Ranch Wranglers team from SaddleBrooke Ranch by a score of 30 points to 15 points on Tuesday, January 2. On Wednesday, January 3, the Dill Me In team (3.0 65+ women) overwhelmed the Volley Llamas by a score of 36 to 6. The Soft Serve team (4.0 65+ women) fell to the Dezert Gilas (4.0 50+ women), 16 to 28. The Tire Biters team (3.0 men 65+) had their first match on Saturday, January 13, against the VAIL’d Threat team in Vail.
