PHOENIX — A Phoenix man is accused of using his cellphone to surreptitiously record video under the dresses of dozens of women at various stores.

Phoenix police say 43-year-old Clinton L. Hollister is being held on 26 counts of voyeurism and attempted voyeurism.

Hollister was released on his own recognizance after his initial court appearance Tuesday. He doesn't have a lawyer yet.

A woman shopping April 22 at an Ahwatukee fabric store noticed a man following her down multiple aisles with a cellphone in a handheld shopping basket,police say.

The man fled before officers arrived, but police say Hollister was recently identified as a suspect.

A search warrant was served on his cellphone for forensic analysis.

Investigators say they recovered about 20 surreptitious videos filmed at fabric, wine, and thrift stores.
