We’ve had to say goodbye to some beloved musicians, athletes, actors and more. Here's a look at the stars we've lost so far in 2024, through February.

The world lost several newsmakers in February, including musicians, athletes and actors.

Wayne Kramer, the co-founder of protopunk band the MC5, as well country music icon Toby Keith died last month.

Lefty Driesell, a college basketball coach who put Maryland on the college basketball map, as well as NFL linebacker Carl Weathers, who left football to pursue acting roles that included Apollo Creed in the "Rocky" franchise, were both lost.

And comedian Richard Lewis, who is currently starring the final season of "Curb Your Enthusiasm," died unexpectedly on Feb. 27.
