As much as I like to cook, there are times when I just want a nice easy-to-fix recipe that is delicious and colorful. Presentation is very important when serving your meals. You should try to keep this in mind when you are preparing dinners, etc. and you will see that it seems nicer to dine.

Try this suggested meal and begin a new road of presenting colorful food…

Easy, Delicious Pepper Steak

Ingredients

1 pkg Brown Gravy Mix

3/4 cup water

1 tablespoon soy sauce

2 lbs. flank or sirloin steak, very thinly sliced diagonally

(I sometimes use London Broil)

1 tablespoon vegetable oil

1 medium onion, sliced

2 bell peppers, cut into thin strips (green, red, or yellow)

Directions

Combine Brown Gravy Mix, water, and soy sauce. Set aside.

Heat oil over medium heat in a large skillet. Saute meat seven to eight minutes, or until brown.

Stir in brown gravy mixture, onion, and peppers; bring to a boil and simmer for about 10 minutes. Serve over rice.

Note: My favorite way to serve this dish is with hoagie rolls and a little salsa. Try it, you’ll love it. Be creative and try different condiments… How about trying this for Super Bowl guests?
