Catalina Mountain Elks packing bags of food for local seniors.

Twenty-five hardworking Elks picked up supplies and created 218 food bags on Friday, February 2. These bags contained pancake mix, syrup, bacon, Spam, soup and crackers. They were created for low-income seniors in our area.

This project was made possible through two grants from the grand lodge—a Beacon grant and a Spotlight grant totaling $6,000. The bags will be distributed during the month of February through our local food bank: Impact of Southern Arizona.
