The second-seeded Arizona Wildcats will face sixth-seeded Clemson in a NCAA Tournament  Sweet 16 game Thursday in Los Angeles after the Tigers held off a late run from Baylor to beat the Bears 72-64 in a second-round game Sunday in Memphis.

The Arizona-Clemson game is scheduled to tipoff at 4:09 p.m and be carried on CBS. The other West Region semifinal between fourth-seeded Alabama and first-seeded North Carolina will be played 30 minutes after the UA-Clemson game concludes.

Clemson led 35-25 at halftime and by 15 points with 6:41 left before Baylor crept within a single possession in the final few minutes. The Bears had a chance to tie with 36 seconds left when Ja’Kobe Walker was fouled with Clemson leading 66-64 but he missed both ensuing free throws.

Clemson players then hit six free throws over the final 29 seconds to preserve the win. The Tigers shot 48.9% from the field while holding Baylor to 38.9%.

Clemson (22-11) finished in a tie for fifth place in the Atlantic Coast Conference with a record of 11-9 and lost 76-55 to Boston College in the first round of the ACC Tournament before beating New Mexico and Baylor to reach the Sweet 16.
