There is still time to sign up yourself and your grandchildren for an exciting, fun-filled day of activities sponsored by your Fitness, Wellness and Recreation Committee of HOA-2 here in SaddleBrooke. Grandchildren’s Day is Friday, November 24.

As noted in our most recent article, the day will consist of four separate events. You and your grandchildren may participate in any or all of them, but you need to send an email by Wednesday, November 22 letting the coordinators know the names and ages of participants for each activity chosen, and if you need equipment. Parents are also encouraged to join in.

Grandchildren’s Day Schedule

  1. Hiking - 8:15 a.m. to 10 a.m. Meet at the corner of South Border Drive and East Whispering Tree Lane. (This is a new location.)
  2. Pickleball - 10:30 a.m. to 12 p.m. Meet at the Pickleball Courts. Children must be at least 7 years of age.
  3. Swimming - 1 p.m. to 2:30 p.m. Meet at the DesertView Pool. Children of any age but must know how to swim.
  4. Golf Putting contest - 3:15 p.m. to 4:30 p.m. Meet at the MountainView Putting Green. Children must be at least seven-years-old.
