Dr. Christina Colosimo is a Clinical Assistant Professor in the Division of Trauma, Surgical Critical Care, Burns and Acute Care Surgery with the University of Arizona College of Medicine. Her credentials are impressive. She completed her general surgery residency at Sky Ridge Medical Center in Colorado. She followed that with completion of her trauma surgical care fellowship at Cooper University Hospital in New Jersey.

She received a Master of Science in Health Care Policy and Management from Carnegie Mellon University and her Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine from Midwestern University Arizona.

Throughout her training, Dr. Colosimo has received accolades. They include winning the New Jersey Committee on Trauma paper competition, the ACOS Resident Achievement Award, the Sky Ridge General Surgery Research Award and the Sky Ridge General Surgery Intern of the Year.

Dr. Colosimo is a member of the American College of surgeons, the American College of Osteopathic Surgeons, American Association for the Surgery of Trauma and the Eastern Association for the Surgery of Trauma.
