Hygiene items to be distributed in December and January.

The Tri-Community Food Bank (TCFB) assists our neighbors in many ways besides providing twice monthly emergency food boxes. Individuals and families dealing with food insecurity have a very limited ability to purchase items necessary for personal and household hygiene, and even some basic everyday home supplies we take for granted. The TCFB helps by fulfilling some of those needs.

In December, each of our families will receive toilet paper and laundry detergent. January is Dental Hygiene Month at the Food Bank. Every household will get a tube of toothpaste for the household and a toothbrush for each family member.

We hope that, through partnerships with churches and other organizations, we may be able to provide other needed items. Some of the future offerings may include paper goods, cleaning supplies, towels and washcloths, personal health/hygiene kits and kitchen basics.
