It’s important to use the brain and body connection to remember the patterns and move the body to the directions with speed and amplitude.

There were three lanes set up with cones—each one had different pattern, going forward and back on one, going to one end and rounding the cone. Rounding the cone and crossing to the other side. Going sideways and straight after the turn. This took place for one minute, 30 seconds. Everyone had to keep count of how many turns the did till the end. Then, every team moved to the next lane.

I was close, team Roy had 47, team Mark had 49, team Bonnie won with 51.

HAVE FUN! Live Life to the Fullest!

In this type of class there are two purposes:

To build muscle mass to recover lost strength and functions.

To counter act the neurologic deficits that occur and to prevent the progression of the disease symptoms.

We do this with weighted movements, education at every session and sharing experiences, strength and support for one another.

We are listed in HOA-1 under exercise and support; Classes are available at 12 p.m. in the Fitness Center on Mondays, On Tuesdays and Thursdays, classes are available in the HOA-1 Art and Craft Center room 3 (next to the gift shop) from 1:30 p.m. to 3 p.m. All are welcome!
