For the last four years, SaddleBrooke and SaddleBrooke Ranch volunteers have been providing much needed food to students at Mountain Vista School in Oracle over winter break. We are thrilled that the Rotary Club of SaddleBrooke is joining in this effort again.
Many students who rely upon school breakfasts and lunches, which are not available during the 15 days of winter break, may experience food insecurity. Fueling the Future has provided non-perishable and fresh food to over 70 families for the last four-years. Volunteers distribute contributions on the last day of school before winter break.
We ask you to contribute non-perishable foods, cash or checks at locations listed below beginning Friday, November 24 to Friday, December 15. Checks should be made out to Oracle Community Center, a 501c3 organization and will be your receipt for tax purposes. Checks and cash contributions purchase fresh fruits and vegetables.
Suggested DonationsPeanut butter/jelly, cereal, pasta/sauce, macaroni and cheese, boxed rice, soups, applesauce, juice boxes/juice cans, dessert mixes, boxed potatoes, canned fruit, canned vegetables, cookies, crackers, canned beans, canned tuna, canned chicken OR whatever else you would like to donate.
