At our November services, Rabbi Price led us in thought and reflection. He noted that the Rabbi is a source of spiritual and pastoral guidance. A bit of a change in November was Eliyanah Powers, our Cantorial Soloist... not only chanting the prayers but playing the music as well. Dr. Josh Nichols, our accompanist, was in London, England, to lead and direct his original composition commissioned by the Bowery Trio. Congratulations to Eliyanah for doing double duty. Congratulations to Josh and his success!
Thank You

By the time you read this, the Annual Meeting was held. Four members were elected to the board.
Since this article is being written before the meeting, board members will be listed in our February article. However, that is that the annual meeting affects our common life together and as we look to the future and how we grow as a Jewish Congregation.
A step forward as we grow as a Congregation and look to the future is obtaining new prayer books. The prayer books are the Mishkan family of prayer books. They are the most modern and current Reform prayer book available today. A set is comprised of the Shabbat Prayer Book and the High Holy Day books. These prayer books will enable us to reach a greater understanding of our Jewish liturgy and allow a more inclusive, evolving and comforting religious services. To understand more about this campaign and contribute, send an email to Jerry Lankin, of the Religious Committee, at azgmaster@gmail.com.
B’nai Midbar is a welcoming congregation. If you wish to join our congregation or have questions, email Esta Goldstein at jsda38@icloud.com for information.
We wish everyone a wonderful holiday season and New Year to all!
