The meeting began with a business session presided over by its President, retired Capt. Chuck Vaughan, U.S. Navy, during which members were updated on the chapter’s current activities.
CMC member David Bull’s long service as CMC membership chairperson was recognized with a plaque presented by Capt. Vaughan. Bull USNR for his exemplary contributions to the development, establishment, and success of the Catalina Mountains Chapter of MOAA.”
The guest speaker was part-time SaddleBrooke resident and former Lt. Cdr. Steve White, U.S. Navy. In 1970 Steve was commissioned an Ensign through the Navy ROTC Program at Dartmouth College. The next CMC luncheon meeting will be held at the SaddleBrooke Ranch Grill beginning at 11:30 a.m. on Saturday, January 25, one week later in the month than usual. This is because of a conflict with the facilities at SaddleBrooke Ranch.
The speaker will be Steven Skeen, who is the president of Threat Awareness Consultants.
