The Institute for Learning in Retirement (ILR) is sponsoring a lottery to introduce to residents of SaddleBrooke, who are not already lifetime subscribers (members) to the ILR Education program. The first ILR lottery for the fall term (2023) was totally successful. Congratulations to the winners: Ann Adams, Jill Jepson, Vickie Mayer, Jane Perry and Kathy Rumsey.
The lottery program will now be extended to the winter/spring term (January 2024 to March 2024). Five lucky winners will each be awarded a free registration to the course of their choice in the 2024 term. The list of courses available will be announced in November.
It is easy to enter, just send an email to sbilr4free class@gmail.com by Monday, November 27. In the subject line type “free class”. The five winners will be selected and notified by email on that date to have plenty of time to choose the course they want to take.
The rules to enter the ILR lottery are:
You must be a resident of SaddleBrooke (full or part-time).
You cannot be a current subscriber (member) of the ILR.
To inspire you to take an ILR education class in the 2024 term, here are a few samples of several interesting classes on topics such as: Analyzing Presidential Elections, Medical Discoveries and Innovations, Magnetism and Toxic Chemicals All Around Us in the Sonoran Desert.
Good luck. For more information about the ILR and to see what courses have been offered in the past, visit the ILR website at sbilr.org.
