This January, Socrates at SaddleBrooke will tackle the controversial and thought-provoking topic—Is there an afterlife? Join us on Tuesday, January 7, from 4 p.m. to 5:30 p.m., in the DesertView Theatre when Dr. Stuart Orr explores this age-old question from the standpoint of western and eastern cultures and religions, as well as from native and tribal perspectives.
From the beginning of time, mankind in all cultures and through all religions has established a belief system that supports an understanding of a Supreme Being who created everything. If every culture and religion has asked the question, “Where do we come from?” They have also asked the question, “Where are we going?” Dr. Orr will delve deeply into this question and will incorporate in his investigation the concepts of the soul, of heaven and even “near death experiences.”
