The Knit Wits welcome the new members who chose to join us for a new year of creating friendships and useful and/or decorative handmade items. Anyone with basic knitting or crocheting skills is invited to join our friendly and lively club. We meet every Wednesday morning from 9 a.m. to 11 a.m. in room 4 of the HOA-1 activity area.
The first meeting of every month is Show and Tell. The array of creations this month was extraordinary. The group affords members the opportunity to learn from others and stretch their imaginations to create over-more exciting pieces.
We’re looking forward to the annual Activity Fair coming up later this month. Hopefully we will have a chance to chat with some of you.
Late in January, Cathy Nordin will begin a series of classes teaching how to knit a sock from the top down on a long circular needle, the magic loop method.
There’s always something going on to keep us Knit Wits busy. That’s a good thing since we all know what idle hands are.
