Join your neighbors and friends at 6:30 p.m. at the Activity Center on Valentine’s Day (Sunday, February 14) for a fascinating program on Shamanic Journeying. SaddleBrooke’s Denis Greenwood will be sharing his introduction to and experiences with Shamanism. Members of Metaphysical Exploration are welcome to bring their drums and join in on the demonstration.

Years ago, Denis was having difficulty meditating and was open to finding an alternative. At that time, a friend invited Denis to a Shamanic workshop. He found that Shamanic journeying came naturally, and it was easier than meditation. After that, he participated in a local circle and learned the many practices of Shamanism.

Denis found that Shamanism provided inspiration, healing, insights and a way to attune with nature and the spirit world. He began a local circle which now meets at his house once or twice a month. Denis’ presentation will give you a brief introduction to Shamanism from his experience. He will explain and demonstrate what takes place at a typical meeting. Then, members and guests will participate in a journey of your own.
