An Unusual Custom
In certain parts of India an obscure ritual is throwing babies. The babies have to be under the age of two; they are shaken by a priest and then the babies are dropped between 30 and 50 feet off the side of temples. Both Hindus and Muslims in rural areas follow this ritual.
