Would you like to be on the dance floor enjoying the music Wild Ride provides? Last year’s dance was the best New Years eve party we have attended! Our dancers had a great time dancing!
Partners Western Dance will start classes this Fall on Monday, October 13. We will teach the Arizona Two Step. This is a very easy dance to learn, and we make classes easy and fun! Dancing is fun! So, the classes should be fun. We teach a step, then review it the next week. We don’t want to just demonstrate steps, and move on, we want you to learn the steps! The Arizona Two Step works with a wide variety of music, not just one song.
I have been teaching here in SaddleBrooke for 20 years, I have sidekicks who help me teach. We all want to help you learn to dance!
The Beginners class will meet at 6 p.m. in the Rincon room. At 7 p.m., we will have an intermediate class. Classes are a six-week series. But you can get on the dance floor after the first class. The more you learn, the more confident you feel!
On Thursdays, starting October 16, we will offer our Partner Pattern Dance classes. These are similar to line dances, a series of steps that repeat. But, you do these dances in the Sweetheart position, with your Partner beside you. We start with the 10-step. Then, we have a 16-step. Not bad. You only need your fingers to count to 10. The introductory classes will meet at 6 p.m. in the Rincon room. At 7 p.m., we offer Intermediate Partner Pattern Dance classes. These dances are more involved but reviewed every week.
We, as a club, offer dances, with Wild Ride, during the fall and spring. The first dance will be held on Monday, November 3 in the Mountainview Ballroom. If you don't dance, come and listen to the music! It makes for a great concert!
We also try to fit in some free DJ dances… Dancing is great exercise and helps build synapses in your brain. And you get to hold your Partner in your arms! Grab your Partner, and some neighbors, discover the fun you can have right here on the SaddleBrooke dance floor!
