Winding down from 2024, and tying up loose ends, SaddleBrooke Women’s Golf Association held their first meeting/luncheon of the year with the new Board in place. Maire Ryan, our new President presided, our Most Improved Golfer of 2024 — Reenie Romey was “crowned,” and seven of our members split the pot for holes in one!
Each year, members are given the option of chipping in $5 toward the hole-in-one pool, which is then divided at the end of the year among all players who got a hole in one at SaddleBrooke. This year, there were eight, but one member didn’t participate in the pool!
The happy winners were Teresa Jenkins, Sharon Kreutzen, Joan Chyall, Sandy Chester and Maire Ryan (missing: Bonnie Westra).
