The Cornhole Club had a positive response from members in January when forming our first official League playing on Monday afternoons. There are several teams playing from 3 p.m. to 5 p.m. for a five-week rotation. Watch our website for the next round of League formations so you can join the fun. There are “drop-in” sessions available on Wednesday afternoons, if you are looking for a partner. Come on by and meet and some new friends! Learning Clinics will be announced throughout 2025 on the website at sbchc.clubexpress.com.

The Hospitality Committee meets this month with the purpose of planning events and activities for the rest of 2025. These events will be posted on the website’s calendar.

Cornhole was represented at the annual Activities Fair at MountainView on Saturday, February 8. We had a lot of traffic at our table and more new members have joined, bringing our membership close to 500. SaddleBrooke Cornhole Club is happy to donate four memberships to the Senior Village Silent Auction.

We continue to need more volunteers as our membership grows. Bring any new ideas to us and help us bring these ideas to fruition and steer the direction of the club toward the membership.

Back in December, our membership voted to install lighting on the courts for night play. This project has been approved by FWR and awaits approval from Board of Directors, which should be voted on at our March meeting.
