The new 2025 year is off and running with our current president Roxy Heacock. The enrollment of new and returning members has occurred and the new board is in place. We are pumped and excited for another fun year of putting with old friends and new each Monday morning at the MountainView putting green. The year includes fun events such as Goofy Golf, Moonlight Madness, Putter Partners or meeting up with or hosting other lady putter clubs (ex: Verde Sputters, SB Ranchettes, Quail Creek Lady Putters).
Let me introduce our president... Roxy and John have lived in SaddleBrooke for 18 years. In 2022, she joined the MountainView Lady Putters and has shown a true commitment to the club. She has served on the Holiday Luncheon committee the last three years, exhibiting her great shopping and gift-wrapping skills adding those special touches to each gift; she is an early bird to the green each Monday to assist with course setup or other duties needed. In 2024, she served as Vice-President learning the role of president under the guidance of Jean Kraus, being responsible for new member orientations, shirt and nametag orders, covering Monday morning announcements in the absence of the president and more. You have probably seen her manning the booth at the Activity Fair promoting MountainView Lady Putters with her big smile and go-get-them ability. Being the president guiding over 100 plus members is a big undertaking, but Roxy is ready to serve.
