Food donation table decor.

After not having the access to play Sputters for weeks, on Monday, November 4, 45 Sputters and six guests hit the putting green. They managed to get 38 holes-in-one, a low score of 36, and a money hole winner. Who were these lucky ladies you ask? Cathy Howard had a 36, Carolyn Bewalda and Hazel Roper had a 37, and Jan Haney, Dawn Hecht, Carol Jones, Carolyn McLean and Karen Simmons all had a 39. The big money-hole winner was Sandra Gerlach.

Fabulous luncheon followed sputting. A big thank you goes to the committee of Sue Ryan, Marilyn Palatas, Vicki Johnson and Georgianne Zigarowicz for their hard work. As usual, you were very generous with the food donations and money for the Tri-Community Food Bank in Mammoth. Many of these families would not have much food on their table if it weren't for you. Our Sue Ryan and Marilyn Palatas are now volunteers at the Food Bank, so, you don’t have to wait to donate food or funds to this great organization. Just give them a call and they will be happy to take your donations to the food bank when they go up there.

Lydia O’Connor led the business meeting, reminding members to attend the monthly meetings as we review Treasury report, continue our friendships, vote on issues, etc. Reminder to advise Donna Gruninger of any name or address changes before our new booklet comes out. Deadline is Monday, December 9. Sheelagh Simpson won the Free Lunch. Then, we played Fun Facts about Thanksgiving such as the reason we feel sleepy is because we over eat!
